Supporting Youth and Local Musicians

We have many initiatives to help fellow musicians and get instruments into kids’ hands. Our impact can be felt across the greater Madison region, touching musicians young and old, both in school and performing professionally. We are proud of what we’ve accomplished so far and look forward to doing even more.

Instrument Donation

We match donated instruments with kids who need them. If you have a gently loved instrument in your home that you’re not using anymore, let us find it a new home with a kid who will love it all over again.

More Good That We Do

We’re always open to new ideas for helping our music community. Here are some additional ways that MAMA has given back:

  • Sponsor of Wurst Fest, an annual event featuring youth musicians
  • Provide scholarships in addition to the main Scholarship Fund, supplying money for instruction and education for area youths
  • Award financial prizes to Students and Teachers of the Year at the annual MAMA Awards
