Sign Up Yourself or an Artist

Register yourself, your band, or another artist in as many categories as you want.

 

You’ll be taken to Broadjam.com/mama to start the process. We partner with Broadjam for registration and voting, so registrants will need a Broadjam account.

 

Creating a Broadjam account for the purpose of registering is free. Broadjam donates this service at no charge to the MAMAs.

How to Register

Gather your assets

If you are already a Broadjam member and the songs you wish to enter are available on your profile, you may proceed directly to the final steps.

 

If you have not yet uploaded your materials or do not have a Broadjam account, please prepare the following:

 
  • Audio Files: MP3 versions of your songs, along with relevant details such as title, genre, and an optional short description.
  • Image or Logo: At least one high-quality image (JPG or PNG format) with minimum dimensions of 1000×1000 pixels—required if you are creating a new Broadjam account.

Create a Broadjam Account

Once you’ve gathered your materials, visit broadjam.com/mama, click the “I want to register” link, complete the short form, and select the *Sign Up* button to begin.

Add Profile and Detailed Song Information

You will still need to upload your image(s) and music to your Broadjam profile. While it is possible to upload a song directly from the registration page, we strongly recommend completing your profile first—this includes uploading high-quality images, adding your songs, and providing song or album information. You may pause the registration process at any time and return to complete it later.

Register for The Awards

With your profile created and songs uploaded, the final step is to register for the awards—just head to broadjam.com/mama, log in, and follow the prompts to select your categories and complete your registration.

How to Complete Your Broadjam Profile

  1. Open broadjam.com. You may have to log in.
  2. If not already on your My Home page, click the MY HOME button.
  3. Locate the grey circular Broadjam placeholder logo. Click the Change Profile Pic button just beneath it.
  4. Upload your photo or logo. JPG or PNG, at least 1000x1000px.
  5. Edit the photo if you wish with the built-in editing tools. Click the yellow Save button to finalize. (Once back on your Home page, if you don’t see your photo right away try clicking the Change Profile Pic button to give it a poke.)
  6. Add songs. Along the colored MY HOME bar, click Manage and choose My Songs. Upload up to 15 MP3s at a time.
  7. Once uploaded, you’ll be taken to an Enter Song Data page.
  8. Here you can enter a track name, select the genre, add the song to a new album, and add metadata like tempo, credits, and descriptions. Click Submit. [You may get an error if your song hasn’t completed activation. Give it a minute and try again.]

Note: you can edit your song info at any time by going to Manage, My Songs, clicking on the 3-dot icon, and choosing “Edit Details.”


There’s so much more you can do with a Broadjam profile, but we’re good for right now.

Step-by-Step Guide to Register

  1. Go to broadjam.com/mama. You may need to log in to your account.
  2. Once on the Award Registration page, select “Register in Award Categories.”
  3. Register one award at a time.
    • For example, to enter Song of the Year, choose one of your songs from the dropdown menu.
  4. Review the registration details, then click “Add to Registration.”
  5. To enter additional categories, repeat the process by selecting another award category.
  6. When you’re done, click “Review/Confirm My Registration.”
  7. Make any necessary changes, then click “Finish My Registration” to complete the process.
 

Note: Your registration is not complete until you click this final button.
